Once again, Jalan KH Agus Salim is heaven for food lovers. There are traditional food stalls and restaurants along the road. Such as Cirebon, Makasar, Yogyakarta, and Batak.

But you won`t feel complete if you haven`t tried the Betawi traditional menus. Betawi means the Jakarta ethnic people. So, it will be incomplete if you`re in Jakarta, but you haven`t tried at least one betawi traditional menu.

One of the places that serves the Betawi traditional food is the Sanusi Soto food stall. The place is at Jalan Kampung Dalem no.5, it`s still in the area of Jalan KH Agus Salim, Central Jakarta.

The place is simple, a fan seems enough to cool the place down. Making their guests feel less sultry.

The room is not wide, it can only accommodate about upto 25 people. But the cleanness seems to be payed attentioned. The food stall opens from 6am to 3pm, from Monday to Friday. The average price is 10,000 Indonesian Rupiahs (IDR)

The owner of the food stall is Mr. Sanusi. It seems that he has taught his assistants well in cooking the menus.

initially, Mr Sanusi opened the food stall about 12 years ago. then the business developed, he then hired attendants to help him. now Mr. Sanusi leaves the serving tohis attendants.

The menu you should try is the “soto paru sapi”. It consists of fried chunks of cow lungs meat. Then, put in some vegetable soup. The soto tastes sweet, and if you add soy sauce, it will become chilli. To fill up your appetite. the “soto paru sapi” is served with white rice.

The food in provided by the food stall tastes so delicious that it will throw away your hunger and the feeling of sultriness.
