This three star hotel located at central Jakarta gives a different atmosphere because the hotel looks more like an art gallery. You can see sculptures and paintings, including Indonesian ethnic paintings, in every corner of the hotel.

There are about 7 floors and 150 rooms, and you can choose out two two types of room, which are, the deluxe room and the suite room. The price for the deluxe room is 250,000 Indonesian Rupiahs (IDR), while the suite room will cost you 400,000 IDR. But, there`s a 21 percent extra charge for tax and room service for each room. These prices include breakfast at Cafe Panorama, which is located on the first floor of the hotel.

Besides breakfast, the hotel also provides facilities, such as; a television, a mini refrigerator with beverages inside, air conditioner, and a telephone with a local and an international line in each room.
In the bathroom, there`s a hot and cold shower, and bathroom accessories, such as; towels, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, and a toothbrush provided for their guests.
To keep save the belongings of guests, a magnetic card is used instead of a key to open the rooms. There are also a deposit boxes located in the receptionist office to keep safe any valuables. Guests may use the deposit boxes for free and are suggested to use them because the hotel does not take responsibility for missing valuables.

The rooms are in clean condition, the hotel attendants are fast with their services and react quickly to complaints. Another good thing is, the Jakarta atmosphere can be seen through the windows of the hotel rooms, because the national monument (known as MONAS in Indonesia) can be seen partly. Checking out time is at 12 p.m. at day time, and payment can be done with either cash or credit card. Paragon Hotel uses the deposit system as a method of payment. Which means paying 400,000 IDR in advance as insurance money, and when checking out, if the insurance money exceeds the total cost after staying, then some the difference is returned. If the insurance money is less than the total cost after staying, then you have to pay the defisit.
